Tracy Butler is the series creator of Lackadaisy, based on her award winning, Eisner nominated comic by the same name.
Coming from St. Louis where she had initially worked in the game industry as an illustrator, concept artist, and 3d animator, Tracy switched gears to comic-making in the mid 2010s to follow after her own passion for telling stories about cats, crime, and history.
More recently, she’s teamed up with animator/showrunner Fable Siegel and the founder of Iron Circus Comics, Spike Trotman, to produce Lackadaisy as an animated series. Since the release of the pilot episode, they have gone on to break crowdfunding records in seeking to finance the series independently.
