Ewan Bailey is a UK based actor known in the voice industry for extreme vocal versatility. Notable
recent roles in video games include the Joker (and Carmine Falcone) in Lego Batman: Legacy of
the Dark Knight, Lord Byron Rosfield in Final Fantasy XVI, Merrick in Sea of Thieves and Alan
Serkis in Crimson Desert.


He has an MA in history from Oxford University and studied acting at the Royal Central School of
Speech and Drama. Since then he has spent over three decades working as an actor across the
industry. He’s also a multi-award winning writer and director of short films.

He’s been a member of the BBC Radio Drama Company and has appeared in over 300 radio
plays. He was a regular cast member of the Archers and co-lead in Ambiguous Loss which won
best serial at the BBC Audio Drama Awards. He recently appeared as The Basilisk and Dawlish in
Amazon’s audio adaptation of the Harry Potter books.
