Samuel is best known for his role as the villainous John Graves Simcoe on AMC’s TURN: Washington’s Spies, and the iconic character of Simon “Ghost” Riley in the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare franchise.

On TV he can most recently be seen as Fitz in Crossfire for Amazon’s Secret Level. Other TV includes: Counterpart; Agents of Shield; The Librarian;, The Magicians; Salem; Housewife 49; Appropriate Adult; and Richard II; produced by Sam Mendes.

Roukin’s feature film debut was in the Oscar®-nominated Happy-Go-Lucky, directed by Mike Leigh. Other films include: Jane Campion’s Bright Star; David Yates’ Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows; Equity; Liberté: A Time to Spy; All Souls; Canvas; The Bell Brook Murders; and Malus.

Roukin began his career as an actor in the top flight of British theatre including Trevor Nunn’s Hamlet at The Old Vic. For the National Theatre: The Kitchen; His Dark Materials; Henry IV Parts 1 & 2. Roukin also spent a season at The Royal Shakespeare Company in the lead role of Pip in Declan Donnellan’s adaptation of Great Expectations. On Broadway, Roukin played Valvert in The Roundabout’s production of Cyrano de Bergerac. For Steppenwolf Theatre Company, Les Waters’ production of Harold Pinter’s No Man’s Land.

Roukin wrote, directed and produced The Break, a semi autobiographical film about a DJ, winning The Audience Award at Richmond International Film Festival. He went onto direct Demus, on which he also shares writing, producer and co-starring credits. He directed the award winning music video for Brooke Josephson’s Sexy and Domesticated. He wrote and directed the documentary series, Between The Battlegrounds (Season 2).

Samuel is an award-winning audiobook narrator and voice-over artist with scores of titles recorded and multiple book-series for authors including: Danielle Steel; Anne Perry; Martin Dugard; Christopher Ruocchio; Ursula K. LeGuin; Michael Moorcock; and Vashti Hardy.
