David Holt

David is one of the UK’s foremost animation voice actors. Over a long career he has worked on over 100 animated series and countless films for all the major studios in the UK and beyond. Early credits include Oakie Doke, Noah’s Island, A Town Called Panic, Angry Kid, Gerry Anderson’s Lavender Castle, Terry Pratchett’s Discworld, Magic Roundabout, Rupert Bear, The Pinky & Perky Show, and many more. More recently, David has voiced a multitude of characters in such series as Tree-Fu Tom, Ruff Ruff Tweet & Dave, The Rubbish World of Dave Spud, Colourblocks, Alphablocks and the phenomenally successful Numberblocks. He was the human voice of Muggins the robot in the Aardman feature film Shaun the Sheep – Farmageddon.

David’s vocal versatility feeds into the world of computer games. Early credits include Broken Sword, Dragon Quest 5, Ape Escape, Fable, Inazuma. More recent credits include Total War – Warhammer, Valkyrie Elysium, Thomas & Friends, Monkey King, Disney Illusion Island, Sackboy – A Big Adventure, Dying Light 2, Lord of the Rings – Return to Moria and Lego Star Wars – Skywalker Saga.

Audio and radio drama has played a big part in David’s professional life, and he has appeared in countless productions for the BBC, Audible, Big Finish etc, such as Doctor Who, Neil Gaiman’s Sandman, Unit Nemesis, Paternoster Gang, and many more.
