Who We Are
We’re a motley crew united by the goal of bringing incredibly talented artists and creatives out to meet their fans at events throughout the world. Everyone at Gung Ho has either gotten their start working as a volunteer at different fan conventions, or otherwise engaged with these events in a way that sparked a passion to share with other fans, our clients, and show organizers.

What We Do

If you’re a show organizer, whether it’s a first-year event, or a mainstay in the convention community, our goal is to bring out awesome talent to fit your show’s content, theme, and crowds.

What’s Our Story
“I was fourteen when I when to Anime Weekend Atlanta as my very first convention. I’d been watching series like Cowboy Bebop, Slayers, Tenchi Muyo!, and way more up to that point, though there was plenty out there I hadn’t seen yet. At the time, I’d seen that volunteering for several hours a day netted attendees a free pass, so I signed up for a shift as a gofer (someone who runs around to wherever they are needed).
It stuck.
After that weekend, I wanted to go to another convention, and as a volunteer getting to see how things worked and moved behind the pipe and drape. So I continued to volunteer at several conventions a year throughout Georgia, and then the Pacific Northwest once I moved out to Seattle.
Fast-forward to 2017. Having worked as a handler for smaller events and some bigger shows, I met the cast from Overwatch at MomoCon just as the game was really taking off. One of their cast mates had yet to attend any shows and wanted to break into the scene, so suggested I reach out. And that’s where the idea for Gung Ho Bookings started, officially opening in early 2018.
It’s been a wild ride since then, and it’s only getting better as I’ve had the opportunity to work with an amazing team within Gung Ho, and truly incredible artists in the field of animation, video games, anime, and internet entertainment. I’m looking forward to what else will come our way in the years to pass, and getting to know even more people out there who enjoy what we do.”
