John Fountain (aka “F”) is an animator, director, and storyteller with over 25 years in the animation industry, with production credits spanning major television series including The Fairly OddParents, Invader ZIM, South Park, and Rick & Morty (see full credits on IMDb).
Over his career, Fountain has worked across nearly every stage of production—including storyboarding, writing, directing, and character design—for studios such as Nickelodeon, Disney, Cartoon Network, and Warner Bros., contributing to both development and series production.
In addition to his studio work, Fountain is the founder of Fountain’s Pen Productions, an independent animation studio and mentorship program where emerging artists learn the full production pipeline by creating original animated projects. Through this initiative, he has developed multiple pilots and original series concepts while training new creators in a real-world production environment.
