Mike Shapiro

Actor, singer, and director across mediums.

Mike Shapiro is from New England and Seattle and Brooklyn. In 1987 he helped launch Annex Theatre, and works in the Northwest and in New York as an actor, singer and director. In addition to film and television, voice acting led to roles in a wide array of games, cartoons, and memorable commercials: since 1998 he has voiced G-Man and Barney in the Half-Life franchise, and spoke the words “That was easy” inside every Staples Easy Button. He played an array of characters on Late Night with Conan O’Brien, including the recurring role of Head Bob Costas-head. Mike is a musician and songwriter, performing and recording solo and also with Brooklyn’s Dirty Waltz Band and the acoustic Americana trio Hammer County.
