Mars Lipowski is a Polish-born, UK-based, bilingual voice actor and three-time One Voice Awards
nominee, working professionally in both English and Polish.
He is best known as Gromsko in the Call of Duty franchise, including Modern Warfare II, Modern
Warfare III and Warzone.
His other roles include Lucjan Skawiński in Valor Mortis, Silas, the main antagonist, and FIVE, the
protagonist, in SPRAWL ZERO, and Voidmaster Unnenvyr in Warhammer 40,000: Mechanicus II.
His extensive video game credits also include Dying Light 2: Stay Human, Dying Light: The Beast,
Total War: Pharaoh, Age of Water, Thief’s Shelter and Parallel Experiment.
With a background in acting, broadcast media and sound design, Mars has a particular fondness
for complex characters, memorable villains and the occasional spectacular death.
Outside the recording booth, he’s a Kyokushin Karate black belt and instructor, which comes in
surprisingly handy when a character needs to punch, fight, scream or threaten someone
convincingly.
Deep voice. Strong characters. And still a whole lot of voices renting rooms in his throat.
