Jan Johns was wildly popular at her elementary school talent shows. Well, popular with the parents…the kids just didn’t understand her weird (neither did she). Which ultimately was a good thing, because all that alone time led to a career of playing with sounds and creating original characters and creatures.
Today, Jan is a versatile actor, singer, puppeteer and voice artist whose work ranges from beloved kid’s shows to video games, horror movies and TV shows.
You can hear her voice in games like DC Dark Legion, Fallout 3, 4 & 76, Starfield, World of Warcraft, Hearthstone, Legends of Runeterra, Gekko Valorant, Star Wars: The Old Republic, Diablo IV, The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remaster, and as the female Predator in Predator: Hunting Grounds.
On the animation side, Jan brings heart, humor and creativity to animated series such as Mickey Mouse Funhouse (Farfus the dragon & Chip), Mickey Mouse Clubhouse+ (Farfus the dragon), The Loud House, Casagrandes, SuperKitties, Alice’s Wonderland Bakery, Charlotte’s Web and Netflix’s Haunted Hotel (Rollyfluffs). You can also hear her as Mayday in the animated feature Seal Team on Netflix, as Lela the dragon in The Loud House Movie, as well as demons and a scary babydoll in The Conjuring Last Rites.
Jan has finally embraced her weird, “normal” is overrated. So take heart, fellow weirdos there’s a place for all of us.
